When you work with Tuckpoint, you work with us — two partners, all in on one business, personally on every step.

Mike has spent more than 40 years learning how great businesses are built and run — from product management at Sunbeam, to executive leadership roles at Rubbermaid, Masco Corporation, and Black+Decker, to CEO positions leading companies from $60 million to $600 million in revenue. Along the way, he's helped organizations navigate growth, improve operations, build high-performing teams, and create lasting value. He's seen what works at every stage of a company's journey, and now he's bringing that experience to Tuckpoint: offering practical judgment on operations, people, and how an owner builds something that lasts.
Mike has been married to his wife, Hallie, for more than 35 years, and together they have built a family that now includes three grown children and four grandchildren. He believes the same principles that create a strong family — trust, integrity, and commitment — are the foundation of enduring businesses. A former Division I football player and third-degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Mike has carried the lessons of discipline, resilience, and teamwork from athletics into every chapter of his career. Outside of work, he enjoys mentoring young people as a Board Member for Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Northern Virginia, learning the game of golf, and maintaining his commitment to health and fitness. He believes curiosity and continuous learning are among the greatest advantages a leader can develop — both in business and in life.
Alec has spent more than a decade inside small and mid-sized businesses — evaluating them, buying them, and working alongside the teams that run them. He's seen hundreds of companies up close: what makes one durable, what quietly weakens another, and what a fair deal looks like from both sides of the table. What he's learned is that the numbers only tell you where to look — the real answer is usually on the floor, in the schedule, or in a conversation with someone who's been there twenty years. That work has taken him from Houlihan Lokey and J.P. Morgan, where he learned the numbers side of the craft, to CenterGate Capital and most recently Hemingway Capital. Now he's putting all of it into finding, buying, and building one.
Alec has been married to his wife, Montana, since 2022 and is the proud father of two. Family — immediate and extended — sits at the top of his priority list. He grew up playing soccer, an experience that shaped his competitive spirit and team-first mindset, and he still leads the way he played: from the front, running toward fires rather than away from them. Outside of family life, he enjoys watching football — especially Texas Longhorn football — playing decidedly average golf, and traveling whenever possible (a much more ambitious endeavor now that it involves two young kids). Above all, he believes in doing the right thing, even when no one is looking.
